Course Overview

STUDY OF PAKISTAN gives us information about the history of Pakistan, its importance, its location, sources, country’s constitution, laws, industrial development, culture, education, civic life, rights and duties and institutions providing rights and justice.

The purpose of Pakistan Studies is to make Pakistani students civilized, knowledgeable, educated and peaceful citizens and to make Pakistani a patriotic nation in the future.

Pak-Studies of Class X offers you Thirteen Chapters.

Chapter 1: The Ideological Basis of Pakistan

This lesson provides rich information on the ideology and ideology of Pakistan and informs about the Islamic aspects of the ideology of Pakistan.

Chapter 2: Making of Pakistan

By clarifying the historical background of Pakistan, this lesson makes us realize that the establishment of Pakistan was not possible in a day but it was possible after a continuous struggle of one and a half hundred years.

Chapter 3: Constitutional Development in Islamic Republic of Pakistan

This lesson is intended to provide information about the evolution of the Constitution of Pakistan and the current constitution.

Chapter 4: Land and Climate of Pakistan

This lesson provides information about the geographical location and climate of Pakistan.

Chapter 5: Resources of Pakistan

This lesson is about the human and natural resources of Pakistan which tells us how we can use these resources to increase the production of Pakistan and make it developed.

Chapter 6: Industrial Development in Pakistan

This lesson provides information about the importance of industry in national development and industrial development in Pakistan.

Chapter 7: Population of Pakistan

This lesson draws attention to Pakistan’s rapidly growing population and its dire consequences.

Chapter 8: Culture of Pakistan

This lesson is about our cultural heritage and provides an awareness of how the culture of different provinces of Pakistan come together to form a common Pakistani culture.

Chapter 9: Education in Pakistan

This lesson informs the educational situation in Pakistan and guides efforts to promote education in Pakistan.

Chapter 10: Pakistan a Welfare State

Pakistan became independent in the name of a welfare state. To what extent we have succeeded in this endeavor and what role we should play in future to make Pakistan a complete welfare state, this lesson guides us.

Chapter 11: The Civic Life in Pakistan

The purpose of this lesson is to provide information about the civic life of Pakistan and the rights and duties of citizens of Pakistan. What is the role of an individual in society and how a law-abiding citizen proves to be a useful citizen and how corruption is at the roots of our country.

Chapter 12: Protection of Human Rights

This lesson explains the concept of basic features of human rights and also explain and compare international human rights and the rights of Pakistani citizens as defined in the 1973 constitution.

Chapter 13: Protection of Citizen Rights and the Role of Institutions

This lesson explains the role of the High Ombudsman on the complaints of Pakistani citizens and explains the powers and roles of the Ombudsman and the female Ombudsman.
